예수님이 어떤 마을에 들어가시자 문둥병자 열 사람이 예수님을 만나 멀리 서서 큰 소리로 “예수 선생님, 우리를 불쌍히 여겨 주십시오” 하고 외쳤다. 예수님은 그들을 보시고 “제사장들에게 가서 너희 몸을 보여라” 하고 말씀하셨다. 그들은 가는 도중에 몸이 깨끗하게 되었다.

꽃송이 같은 만남, 피어 있을 때는 환호하다가 시들면 버려버립니다.

지우개와 같은 만남, 힘이 있을 때는 간수하고, 힘이 다 닳았을 때는 쓸모없어 버립니다. 손수건과 같은 만남, 힘이 들 때는 땀을 닦아주고, 고통 중에는 눈물을 닦아 줍니다. 예수님 과의 만남은 완전한 사랑의 만남입니다. 예수님을 만나면 당신의 삶이 변화 됩니다.

Encounters in Life

Life is full of different kinds of encounters.

Some are like flowers—cherished when they bloom but discarded when they wither.Some are like erasers—kept while they’re useful but thrown away when they’re worn out.Some are like handkerchiefs—there to wipe away sweat in hard times and tears in moments of sorrow.
